Bridget Duffy-Ulrich- Bel Canto Girl Choir
Bridget Duffy-Ulrich holds a Bachelor of Music degree in music education from the University of Wisconsin Madison and a Master of Music in music education from the University of Michigan. She is currently the Director of Choirs at Oshkosh North High School where she teaches curricular and extra-curricular musical ensembles, music theatre, and music technology courses and serves as the district's Music Department co-chair. Bridget is the Wisconsin Music Educators Association (WMEA) Northeast Vice-President, a member of the National Association for Music Education (NAfME), and regularly mentors future choral music educators as a cooperating teacher. She is a recipient of the Herb Kohl Teacher Fellowship award and the Oshkosh Area Community Foundation's Rudoy Award for Excellence in Teaching. Bridget's additional teaching and leadership experiences include having served as the Next Direction Registration Chair for the Wisconsin Choral Directors Association (WCDA), the Alto 2 section coach for the Wisconsin School Musicians Association (WSMA) State Honors Treble Choir, Lourdes Academy choir director, and vocal coach for the Badger State Girl Choir program. An active accompanist, organist, and singer, Bridget has performed with the Oshkosh Chamber Singers and NEWVoices, as well as other local orchestras and choirs. She lives in Oshkosh with her husband and two young children and enjoys spending time with family, traveling, reading, and cheering on the University of Wisconsin Badgers.
